Hofner Verithin 1965 - Pre Owned

Original 1965 Hofner Verithin, in good to fair condition for its age.

Produced in Germany through the early 1960’s the Veritnin was Höfner’s answer to the 335, with its distinctive thin light weight body and strap fretboard markers. This example has a faded cherry burst finish and striking flamed maple back. A very resonant guitar suited to all styles from Jazz to rock.

Condition & Observations

All original parts with a good amount of patina fading on finish and wear expected of age.

The bridge has been modified and lowered giving it a good action.

Pickups work but the bridge output is a little weak in comparison to the neck.

One Machinehead shaft is bent but useable.

All of this is reflected in the price, with similar models currently selling in excess of £1000+
